PSP hacking
Has anyone here downgraded their psp? I jsut got a 2.5 off ebay but im trying to find a way to downgrade it without prepatch gta lcs but it looks like it aint gonna happen. though my major question is why engineer a downgrade when you could just reverse engineer sony's signature that allows software to run? maybe im just stupid but it seems like that would make more sense. I thinkthe true reason sony doesnt embrace homebrew is because they make mroe moeny selling more psp's from people bricking theirs trying to downgrade! (stupid drunk speculation.. whatever)

I've downgraded and you must have GTA to do so.turbolover wrote:Has anyone here downgraded their psp? And about cracking sony's signiture, not only would it take multiple computers running every scenerio possible for close to 2 years to decrypt, once done sony could just issue a firmware update and change it, negating everything that you have accomplished.
