Alternate Forum Emoticons - GANNON add these :D

Post by timmeh87 »

i know that recently someone in the forum (luc?) had some 'suggested emoticons' in their signature. like :wtf: and stuff. and i thought they were hillarious.

so i was wondering if whoever had those would lend me the images so i can at least use them on msn. :D

Word to Big Bird. I made those in attempt to get some new smilies, they are the ones you're thinking of, right?

Check out this logo I made for this site too, I like it....

EDIT: Sure, feel free to use 'em on MSN.

If you look at the post itself (by quoting it) you'll see those aren't actuallu on the site, but on skyone's site. Just so there's no confusion. If you guys can convince gannon to add these, you've got my support! :wink:

IMO smileys are completely pointless. I would disable them.

The emoticons will need to fit in with the others, and therefore the ones posted by vb_master really wouldn't work too well. I like the ones skyone posted and would support them going through.

My feeling is that if everybody's funny pictures were accepted as emoticons, then we'd have way too many. You can use those pictures all you want, but it is highly doubtful they'd be used frequently enough by other forum members to justify them being emoticons.

There's a simple solution to this:

Code: Select all

<img src="http://skytroniks.com/images/database/smilies/wtf.gif">
or

Code: Select all

[img=http://skytroniks.com/images/database/smilies/wtf.gif]
Besides we're forgetting our friend <img src="http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/2459/zing5pa.gif"> :zing: ! :P

Well yeah any one who uses/has used a Usenet style system will know you can survive without the dancing bologna style stuff. But I do think the :pikaslap: might prove useful on occasion.

OT: Skyone do you have a live365.com station I thought I saw one called SKY ONE RADIO. :?:

1) I realize I could just [ img ] my smilies, and I'm just fine with that actually.

2) It would be pretty cool to have 'em on the site, seeing as they go along with all of the ones already on the forums.

3) No, I'm not on my own live365 station ;).
