That sounds like a good idea. Would you use a laptop hd for size? What about a cd drive? I would do this, but I don't have enough money, so I'll let you do it. :D

For the power, just make it the n64 switch hooked up to pin seven and ground of the atx connector, thats the power on line.

first step would be to gut out the n64 case as much as possible, get a powersupply and gut that too epoxy or however glue it to where it needs to be ont he 64 and cut off all the extra plastic you dont need for further room, i would go with a slimline slotloading cd drive out the back abouve the powersupply, laptop hdd, usb ports under the cart flap, 4 of em, rest of the ports on the back. stuff like that
