Not a guitar "solo"...although Woodstock Improvization by Jimi Hendrix is a solo. My personal favorite is Brighton Rock Solo by Brian May (of Queen). Performed during the Wembly concert of the Magic Tour. Fantastic...

Anyone who says eruption, is just trying to act like they know what there talking about. I was there years ago. I literally get shivers in whole lotta love by led zepplin. You must listen carefully to it though to get the true power of the last like 2 seconds.

tons of Iron Maiden songs have the best guitars solos ever but i'm gonna have to go with Number of the Beast. Master of Puppets and Crazy Train are also really good. Megadeths's Hanger 18 also has some amazing guitar solos. there's too many good ones i can't make up my mind

The ABSOLUTE best solo of all time is "no more tears" the keyboard part and effects right before it make it this much more exciting
