We are doomed!
Im not talking about the population, but this group, the people of this forum. We are doomed to stagnate (a term that means that a group of people are not making progress). this coming generation of game consoles (wii, 360, PS3) very well may not be portableizable. With the Wii's wiimote, the high power needed for the the 360, and also the expense of the PS3.
Oh we may get more members but we will see the same old portables over and over again, no progress into the new consoles.
Discuss!

Well if that's the case we can jsut consider ourselves lucky, as our children won't be able to do things like this without 1$ SNES's from the garage sale down the street instead of their newfangled systems.
You COULD always make other things, like a 360 Arcade, where the controls are customized and such...
One thing that I want to do (and I think has already been done) is make a controller where your entire body is involved. You're in a hamster ball kinda dealie for the directions, and you have one of those virtual reality 2.5" LCD's on your head, and you have a gun where reloading and firing and such are rigged up to the buttons, and the gun has a gyroscope in it for aiming.
THAT would be cool. I hope I do that one day, otherwise I'm going to be a couch potato all my life. Although I DO like potatoes...

Its been rumored that you can for smash bros brawl and the virtual console. All other wii games require the remote.madc0w wrote:You do know it can use a gamecube controller?gamer2 wrote:...With the Wii's wiimote...
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money

I always thought something like that would be cool, but I couldn't figure out how you could move in all directions. A hamster ball kinda thing would be a good idea.Kurt_ wrote:One thing that I want to do (and I think has already been done) is make a controller where your entire body is involved. Well I was kind of hoping the Wii would usher in a new era of super small GCp's based around it, just using the old controller and such.
