Can someone relocate a cartridge slot on a mini for me?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Can someone relocate a cartridge slot on a mini for me?

Post by Klefmung »

Well, I have tried to relocate many, many times on different systems. It always fails. ALWAYS. I can't even remove this slot. >__< I cannot afford another SNES mini mobo! I will pay, who will do it?

Apparently not. If you want to try it with enameled wire (from RadioShack/The Source ina pack of Red, Green, and Clear), it will probably be easier. With enameled wire you don't need to strip it, and it's got a solid core (vs. a stranded core) which holds better and such as long as you're not bending it so much that it breaks off. But for a cartridge slot I doubt you'll be moving it that much.
Hey, sup?

I will definitely pay. Uhh.... turbo, how much were you thinking? I don't really know the standard on this kinda thing.

(I have the right wire. that isn't my problem. I have great solid, yet thin wire for it)

No, the cart slot is still on it. (usually, I can at least get the thing off!) In fact, when I gave up on trying to suck the solder off, I just fired up ff4 and played the night away.
