Superman Returns

Post by sam »

Who has seen this movie, I was sceptical at first, but boy o boy when the opening credits started rolling and the themesong came out of the speakers, I was into the movie. This was at 10:30 at night and the movie is almost 3 hours long it was one of those movies that always had a positive ambience(sp). I personally enjoyed it more than the 3 LOTR movies, though I did like those, I felt uplifted seeing a superman movie. Clark Kent was as aqkward as can be, within the first 20 minutes I was completes submerged into my seat watching every move, I didnt even go to get my food and drink refilled I just didnt want to leave. I would highly suggest this movie to any fans of film, comics, tv, or pretty much anything else. My only slight quam was with the size of the S on his chest, could have been bigger, and John Ottman the man in charge of sound, did a fantastic job. If you have seen it. PLEASE don't spoil it over others, post your input and what you thought about it.

HOLY... That was the best movie I have seen in a while. I just got back an hour ago and loved every minute of it. There was only one bad thing about it. This kid sitting besides me talked through the whole thing and no one would do anything about it. And I wasn't about to get out of my seat for a second. Dang that was good.[/b]

Dude, calm it. Maybe it was a joke, and I think he's like, 12.

Superman Returns deserves a 5/5 star rating.

Was i joking? No, but nor do i intend to DL it anytime soon as I'm not that much of a DC fan. As for banning me. I just read over the rules, there is nothing against admitting to being a pirate, only in doing said piracy on these boards, which I do not. I only pirate when i can't afford to buy it, which is why 90% of my games were preordered.

While I appriciate people trying to calm down the child, I do NOT appriciate being called a 12 year old. I am a 31 year old woman, with a very good understanding of the economics of the entertainment industry. Including the fact that when they mention they loose 265 million a year to pirates, they forget to mention that they net 20 trillion a year, maling thier losses less than a cent for every sale they do make, with thier 350% profit margins. They also forget to mention, that they spend more money every year trying to prevent piracy, than they actually lose to piracy.

So before anyone goes and decides to explode at me, or call me a 12 yo. Do your homework.

Get a job if you can afford internet you can afford a movie ticket. Say your a senior citizen whatever you want but do be someone who rips off peoples creativity you should be ashamed of yourself. Do your homework, rules are ment to be interpreted by those who judge as are laws. I feel sorry for people like yourself. If you think you know the economy get a job. I am 16 years old and I work part time which has shifted to more or less 30+ hours a week while managing school and other extra curricular activities like working out rugby and hockey.

So back on subject now, who else got slightly excited when they heard the theme song begin to play after what seemed like hours of borning previews (a lady in the water :P)
