N64 Batterys

Ok,

I have an Intec Gamecube screen, and a n64. I plan to get 2 of those RC car batteries (7.2v) to run this machine. Anyway to power it, would i have to wire the batteries in series or Parrallel?

I kninda figured series because the n64 requires 12v to run along with 3v

no, it only needs 7.2v XD

So parallel is the way to go, sweet, what about the the 12v->3v adapter, would 7v go into that and step it down to 3v?

Should, yeah.

The N64's PSU feeds it 12 volts because it's a common voltage. But the 12 volt line can take anything from 7.2 volts to 35 volts. This is because it feeds directly to a 78M05 that converts the voltage to 5 volts anyway.

Now i need a charging diagram, i heard the one from bens book is accurate. Can someone just scan the diagram for me?

hey jsut checkign out threads here, thats great now I can use a lower voltage for the n64 but I have an intec gc screen to hooked up can it run on anything lower than 12v?
