I am getting a ds game...cant decide between 2...

Mario kart DS
or the new mario bros.

If you own new super mario bros can you tell me if its as good as the originals ? does it live up to super mario bros 3?

The New Super Mario Bros. is definatly my fave game, I have both and they are both awsome. NSMB definatly lives up to all the previous games.

How is the difficulty?

super mario bros (1) difficulty (easy)

super mario bros (3) difficulty (hard)

If you're that kind of person you might consider this game:

I like Mario Kart DS a lot, but NSMB is not out here yet

New Super Mario Bros. all the way. Mario Kart was way overhyped, it is a good game, don't get me wrong, but you will probably have a lot more fun with NSMB and the difficulty is pretty easy-medium depending on the level.

NSMB is EXTREMELY well balanced. The learning curve on the game is smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth. And the game's full of secrets for you to hunt for after 'beating' it.

Mario Kart....well....you race. It's a pretty great game with plenty of tracks- including special 'retro' cups featuring tracks from SNES, GBA, N64, and GCN- but it doesn't quite compare to NISMB.

well i got new super mario bros

and i beat it lol.
well actually...not.
if your someone who calls "beating it" just seeing the credits than yes,i did beat it.

I still have to get all the coins.
And unlock worlds 4 and 7.

but i will post a review soon.
