Hi guys,
Here is my question, I have a toejam & earl cart that always seems to generate a lot of interest (on gametz.com), however when I went to try it out recently it didn't work.
Yup, I already gave the contacts a good cleaning with q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Still no dice.
Any other ideas? Thanks.

Does your genesis work with other games? Maybe the cart slot is dirty?
I don't know if this game has one but the battery might be dead.

Yeah, other games seem to work fine. That was what I was wondering - if there was a battery or something that needs replacing. Anyone know?

That would just cause it to not hold a save.

If you dare open the cart, check for loose contacts or pins.

Is it the Funkotron one? I have that one too and I want to know if it's rare or anything.
PSp is about 70% done, just have to do the controller and case.

That cart is pretty rare (looked it up) so opening up would be a pain. But electronics aren't made to last for ever so it could just be busted.

Whew, an extra, extra, extra good cleaning was all that was needed. I'm so happy I fixed a $40 cart.
