visual basic 6 question

is there some easy function or algorithm to find out if one number is between two other numbers? im stumped.

i mean i can think of how to do it with a huge if...then structure but i was hoping theres an easier way. like a built in function. or something.

(haha sorry i was being a bit of an idiot... and i didnt really fully explain what i was trying to do. ... my freind helped me figure it out)
