Per Hour Rate?

Post by limpport »

I'm building an NESP by hand (Ben's Book) for someone I know. They are providing the NES and the controllers. I've figured out that it would cost 100-125 dollars to build, depending on what battery they want and how much the screen will cost. What have you guys charged per hour for this kind of thing? Because, honestly, I'd have no freakin' idea!

Just charge a "Of my Time" service fee. I would charge about 30 bucks for a NESp...more for more complicated portables.

Depends; I usually charge $30-$50 labor, depending on the system and if the person trades me anything. Then I just keep a running total of the cost of parts, and there you go!
