for me

burning sega CD games. i still do it to this day occasionally. good ol' times. i started it when someone who lived by me who was in highschool shown me to. sadly, i still dont have a sega CD, but i play them at a friends house all the time

PS1p 8) Saw bens in EGM and I went nuts for several weeks figuring out how to make one like it.

battery powered genesis. it's not quit handheld but it is fully playable away from home because i rigged up my zenith screen with a battery pack, RCA jacks, and power cord that can connect to genesis and N64p and all that stuff.

Well My first hacking experience was that time I connected to a guy computer using telnet.. ohh.

You mean Console hacking, hmmm DC Emulation.

Graphics modding for Age of Empires 2. Ahhh... the hours making fame after frame of animation just to have a white box around it every every now and then in the game because you for got the transparency in one frame. :P

Hmm I hacked my school webpage in 6th grade... in school...(don't ask I was dumb then). I hacked two cdplayers togehter, and rigged it up so i could "change the cd" without opening it... It didn't work to good. I am ahcking a snes right now :)

Well take your pick on which you think is a hack. I burned games to run on a modded Playstation (no I didn't mod it myself), the other I did was I got a PSone to run off batteries.

This reminds me I know were a mod chip is I need to install that in one of my PSones. Thanks for the memory jogger.

If you consider the very first one, I duct taped a stick with dog food on it in front of my dog's mouth and I rode on my dog. (He's a Saint Bernard, and I was 5 at the time.)

But more specifically, when I was 7 or so I modded my ratshack R/C car to run off 6 C cells that sat in the back of the R/C instead of the small AA batteries. I also had to replace the motor brushes in it.

I didn't really do much from that time, until a few years later when I finally took an interest (2004 mainly) and started learning about PICs, digital circuitry and whatnot.

First hacking project? I moded my Atari 2600 SuperCharger so I can run all 2k/4k homebrews.
