Hooking an NES contoller up to a Powerplayer

Is it possible to connect an NES controller to a Powerplayer NOAC, WITHOUT opening up the NES controller, and soldering the buttons? Because I'm new at this, and I don't feel like soldering every single button.

Yes, it is. You can just strip the wire from the controller and solder the wires you'll find inside directly to the board. How many leads does your Power Player have going to the control board? 12 or 13?

well, depends. Mine didnt allow me to do this, though several NOAC's take NES controllers (ex. yobo). So it really depends what type you have.

No, you can actually hook an NES controller up to any NOAC provided you have a soldering iron and you know what pins to solder to. That's why I need to know if he has a 12 or 13 pin Power Player, because the pinouts are different for each one.
