Nomad Compatibility

Hey, Im planning on buy a SEGA Nomad tomorrow, when I go to the fleemarket.

I just have a question, my boss at my work (I work at a gamestore called GamePower), said that Not every Sega Genesis games work with the Nomad.

Is that true?

and what games work and do not work with the Nomad?

Make a list please.

i think that it will work with all genesis games, maybe your boss meant it will not work with any 32xgames?

maybe what are 32x games? and I have some NHL games that are taller then regular Genesis games, will they work?

compatability should be 100% except for stuff like the 32x and megadrive games (they dont fit right) all others should work

so Your saying Genesis games wont work with the Nomad??

megadrive carts are slightly different shaped than orth american carts they dont fit right, thats why they dont work correctly

It looks like one game doesn't work with the Nomad, and a couple act weird.

what are Mega drive games? (are they Genesis games?)

and I have NHL 94 and NHL 95, they are Taller then a regular Genesis game, will they fit?

I think he means something out of the USA, like the megadrive console instead of the genesis.

megadrive cart (for the megadrive console, not genesis, because it's region coded er whatever I think)

Well I have a game called: Barkley's Shut Up and Jam, and it looks like a Megadrive game, but it works in my Genesis v2.

and My NHL 95, is Tall.. like this:

1) they are sega genesis games, 16MB I think cartriges

2) they should fit

4) (:D ) megadrive are imported cartriges from... foreign countries I don't know (japan is one)

so yes, they should fit

European Mega Drive games use exactly the same size and shape of cartridge as North American Genesis games. A healthy majority will work perfectly in the Nomad, but there are quite a few which feature territorial lockout.
