Original PS2 power (ORIGINAL)

This has been making me think for a while! My main q. is with eastsider_1. He says that all original PS2's can take 12V. I think he's right, but where would it input. Help me please!

Maybe you should look at MY OTHER THREAD.....and hopefully you will see that from the back end where they are located, + is on the right and - is on the left.

OK, I was wondering what kind of battery. I have an infolithium, that's 7.2 V (any way to make that 12 V, link please), and from Radio Shack anything RC related...thanks.

OK, as a finale, I have a 7.2 volt Infolithium battery...or a 7.2 volt RC Car battery...I need a converter that'll take this 7.2 V to 12V...

each of these is 1A so 2 of them should work.

Draw of the PS2 is 1.8-2.5A depending on the disc usage.
