does anyone know what the pitch of the nes 72 pin connector is? I think I found a place that sells them, but I need to double check that the pitch is correct. Thanks

if the pitch is .098 instead of .01 then how can Ben use floppy drive connectors. those are .01 too. Maybe because he chops them and the connector is in 2 peices it is easyer to do? I tried to make it work with floppy connectors and it did not work properly. The connection is very bad, and only a very few games work with it, and beleive me, I have messed with than connector for a very long time. Where can I get a good 72 pin connector? I will probably just give up making this NESp with a real NES mobo and go with a retrocon so I don't have to mess with a stupid-^%$ing custom 72 pin connector.

And just guess who happens to be selling family converters jk, he's right. They are the best source so far. And they are much more reliable than floppy connectors or spliced together famicom connectors, and I'm speaking from experience.
I cheat and heat up a wire, lay it across one side of the connector, and aply pressure untill it bends off, then heat up the other side and it'll fall right off.

Thats a cool way to cut fiberglass. Sounds more fun and more reliable than scoring it over and over with a knife then bending till it snaps.
