i dont know if portable pcs are really worth it anymore. not now umpcs are a reality.
yeah its still cool to build one, but its like if someone made a hard drive mp3 player with a standard harddrive. it would be a hard drvie mp3 player but it would suck in comparrison to an ipod which practically everyoine has anyway.
still if its a budget thing or just the compulsion to build somthing then good luck. the want to make is probably just as good as any reason to be honest.

they still worth it trust me, these umpcs are friggene xpensive, the origami was supposed to have a 500$ pricepoint but its actually 3x that, the samsung q1 umpc costs 1800$ for example
