Hi, I've been looking at this website for a while and after looking at people's GCps I would like to have a shot at it .
The only concern that I got is I have a portable TV which runs on 12V 1A, but since the GC runs on 12V 3.25A, what would be the best resistor to use (I'm assuming I have to get a resistor )? I've never been very good at calculating required resistors (yes I know about V=IR, but still...) .
Also, I'm sorry if this question has already been asked - I couldn't find it during a search.
Er... I'm not entirely sure, but it's this. Yes I know it's not a good battery - I only get about an hour life from it (I found it as a bargin ages ago), but will it affect what I need? If I can get values for the mains that'll be fine for now.

With the screen that's made by the same company (4gamers) yes. Shamefully I can't open the battery pack so I can't tell what the mAh is (but I'll keep trying...). Which batteries would you recommend instead?

you don't need a resistor, the sreen will only draw how ever much amps it needs, not more. and power supplies alwys supply significantly more current than you need so the screen probably only takes 500ma or less and i heard GC takes 1.8A

Cool, I just wanted to check so I don't blow up my portable TV. Thanks. Now I have to get this stupid case off from my battery...
if it dosent say what the power rating is on the ouside of the battery, i seriouly doubt you will find it inside (youre not supposed to open them so they dont write anything important in there:P). look on the outside for any text stamped into the plastic. (or google)

I want to open it anyway to save a lot of space for portable use - usually there's wasted space in cases like these. Still, nothing wrong with opening it, huh? .
I can't find anything on Google relating to the battery's power rating nor on the case, but I'll connect the screen to the battery and see if it'll work (hopefully without a bang). Just have to change the power connector for the battery's screen power output - it's different to my screen.
