Get flat small screwdriver, put it in one of the 3 slots and push down and turn. Free triwing.

I've been trying it, and my hands get sore after spending 30 min just unscrewing one.

Also, mine kinda erm...broke.

Thats a side-effect of free.

Make sure you are pushing hard enough and the screwdriver is small enough. I can take apart a GBC with a flathead in 5 minutes, tops.

use the precision screwdrivers from the big shack they aren't that expensive (even for radio shack)

Also make sure you use them properly (holding one hand firmly, not too hard though, and driving with the other hand

Yes, precision screwdrivers are what I was talking about. Mine have a spinning top part, so I put the top into my palm and spin with my fingers and thumb.

$6 for a whole bunch of stuff

I don't think any of those are "gamebits" but I'm not sure what a "spline drive" is. I'll probably order the set soon, before it goes back to normal price.

Spline drive is just the driver that fits the bits. It comes with tri-wings, but not inverted-torx.

I've already got 3.8 and 4.5 mm gamebits anyway, although I'd probably store them in this case when I order it.

Having the proper tools makes a job much less frustrating, so instead of spending hours melting pens or grinding screwdrivers to fit I suggest buying proper tools. One less fast food meal or pack of smokes will get you the cash to get some decent bits.

There is a Harbor Freight near me, maybe I should get that.
There is something called a hollow tip torx, maybe it would work as a gamebit.

Nope, I just used it a couple days ago to open up an AC adaptor.

I think I got the set off of ebay for under $7 delivered, so they aren't too bad but still overpriced considering he probably paid about 50 cents tops purchasing them in bulk.

What you need:
-precision screwdrivers set ($1)
-file (10cents?)

File down the 1,8mm to fit it in one of the screws. Since the screwdrivers stink you'll have to file them down again from time to time.
