sound, no video :(

alright my multimeter is reading only 2.6v from the 5v pin on the connectors. Any ideas why?

EDIT: Ok its a PSone screen. My noac now works bcuz of my stupid mistake. New prob is sound works fine, but no video. You can hear the transformer whining (no led mod) and the screen is solid black and no light. Any more ideas? Thanks.

Sorry I was a little vague

The screen is a Psone screen and I have it properly wired, with my noac hooked up to the 5v wire coming from the connectors. The noac is only getting 2.6v from the screen, though. Any suggestions? The mothorboard has what looks like two 7805s, maybe one is fried?

Assuming you're refering to the +5V pin on the edge connector (pin 12, slot 1 on the diagram in the sticky), that is a +5V input. It's used as a reference voltage to turn the screen on for certain versions of the board, and it's probably not too good to try and run a load off of it. As long as the NOAC doesn't draw too much current, you can tap it off the output of the 7805 on the screen's board.
