what other 64-bit systems are there?

Urm, they're the only 64-bit consoles I know of, and in that case, all that Google knows of. Please search on an engine next time.

jag wasnt true 64 bit it had one 32 bit proccesor and a bunch of "helper" procesors, i think

That goes to the same with SNES consoles. Advertized as 16-bit's, the SNES really was only an 8-bit, with a 16-bit pallete.

actually thwe SNES used a 65816 CPU which is the 16 bit version of the 6809 (a derivitive of the 6502) used in the NES.

You're thinking PCEngine/TurboGrafx16. The SNES is a true 16 bit box, while the PCEngine/TurboGrafx is just as you've described.

Also, the Jaguar, as I recall, had two (fairly primitive) 32-bit processors in parallel. Not true 64 bit. If it were, the Saturn's parallel Hitachi processors would make it qualify for 64-bit status as well, but Sega didn't try to rip people off in that regard. They just said it had dual processors. Thus, I consider Jaguar and Saturn "dual 32s".

No, 32-bit. that's an easy assumption to make, considering the PSOne went head to head with the 64-bit N64 and, disputably, beat it. The PlayStation is just remarkably well engineered, and has a different type of storage media which has more size to it.

Yes, the PSone outsold the N64, although the N64 is clearly better! Except for the controllers. Ya need three friggin hands to play it!

PS1 owns N64, N64 had hardly any good games, and the graphics aren't better at all

Graphics dont make a system AND n64 had PLENTY of good games

and these games are all the N64 exclusive ones that i can remember off the top of my head (im sure im mixing an amazing game and someone will berate me for this)

aaand....I don't want a flame war or anything going on, and since the question was answered (if not, check google or wikipedia), I'm closing the thread.

It's all a matter of opinion, anyway....or what you played growing up, too.

My parents got me an N64, so I never got into the PS much....I'd like to change that soon, though
