video problems

Allright. I desoldered the black power thing on the mobo. Since i'm not able to run it off of batteries for now, i soldered it back in. Well before i soldered it in, i just had it sitting in its holes. I hooked the power cord, and av into it and a tv. When i turn it on i get a second of the title screen thenit goes all wierd. It goes very dark, fuzzy, and i can barely see the game behind the static. I soldered the thing back in, and I get the same thing. Whose fault is this, the cartrege, the expansion pack, the mobo, or something else?

Did you leave the DC-DC converter connected by accident? I think that's where you problem lies.
