Genesis logo.

Hey, I'm painting my Genesis and I need a stencil or a printout of a stencil of the logo. Anyone?

Here's a basic stencil; you'll have to print out a Sega logo on clear sticker stock or something like that, because it didn't look like it would work well as a stencil. (small details would fall apart)

I'm not sure how it will look when it's done, try making a couple copies and using them for stencils on scrap until you get acceptable results.

EDIT: Try covering both sides of the paper with packing tape (the clear, wide stuff) or laminating it before you cut it out. Or trace the paper onto some plastic like the side of a milk jug or a big lid of some sort. (it will be mroe durable)

Wait!

I was pretty tired when I did that one, and it just occurred to me. In order to get the Genesis logo a different color than the rest of the unit using that as a stencil, you'll have to paint the color you want the logo to be on the general regoin first, THEN put the stencil down and spray the paint over it.

In order to use it as a negative stencil (so it masks off the area, only exposing the parts you want colored), you'll need to cut away the WHITE parts, leaving the blue behind. (leave some of the white behind to connect the letters, though. You'll need to touch them up later on.)

I just assumed that without reading the fine print, but thanks for the heads up anywho; I just fixed a broken Genesis 3, I'm bound to make it portable.
