Post by Snowden »

I have an opportunity to buy 2 Atari 2600s for 6$ but I can probably haggle down to 4$. The catch is that he isn't sure if one works, they come with no hook-ups or controllers. Shoud I take this or leave it?

if you're using it for a portable, take it. If you want to do something else with it, then leave it.

Take it! The hookups and controllers are relatively cheap. You can actually use Genesis pads on your Atari if you can't find Atari sticks.

Take it. Even if you don't want to build a portable with it (but why wouldn't you?) it's easy to make a controller and mod it for composite video.
