Realplayer to mp3?
Does anyone know how to convert a realplayer file to an MP3?

If it's a stream, there are very few options. One is to use a stream ripper program, which will basically save the data to disk as it arrives. Another (which is only available to Mac users) is to record the music through a software route. This can be done with either a combination of Detour, Soundflower, and an audio recording program (which can be free), or it can be done with Audio Hijack/Audio Hijack Pro (which are not free). If you've got a Mac, Audio Hijack Pro SHOULD reside in your Applications folder already. If not, buy it; it'll be worth the money.
The final route (which I do NOT recommend) is to hook an audio cable from the sound output of your computer to another recording device. This will result in a loss of quality, and it's more of a hassle than anything else.
If it's not a stream, you can probably use a simple converter program to re-encode it as an MP3.
