Last question, i promise

Ok, my NESp is finally done but the second player port doesnt work. The first player works fine but when i plug a controller into the second player port, the first controller stops working and the second doesnt work either. whats wrong?

I'll hazard a guess that it's a power problem. Someone else want to debunk or extend this?

It's definitely possible, though I'd be a little shocked to see controllers go down before other things... I suppose it's not too unlikely though (with low power situations, anything can happen).
It's actually not a bad theory, IMO.
I think MM007 said in one of his posts (maybe it was someone else, but pretty sure...) that he severed power to the internal stuff, and it still worked. Then it worked when an external controller was plugged into both of the ports.
