Hey, has anyone heard of tectoy?
They still manufacture sega consoles . Example: SUPER megadrive 3 and master system 3
I never knew about this. Search at google (of course) if you want more info.
edit: unfortunatley they manufacture in brazil .
only problem is with most brazil things is it won't work or will work stupidly on our tv's (in US)... unless you mod it, But then you can't play other US consoles
That's video encoding (Brazil uses PAL-M, as I recall). I'm saying that TecToy also makes cartridges, and the region coding of the carts is such that I don't think they play on USA machines either.
? could you possibly change the PAL-M signal somehow?
wait a sec... this is a more important question. (down)
Could this
possibly be a source of MOAC (mastersystem on a chip)?
or sega mastersystem handy (If you wanna google it and not click on the link )

I think it could be the source of a moan
Converting PAL-M to NTSC-M (what is used in America) would require something that converts the color burst frequency/signal to NTSC from PAL but nothing else (because they are otherwise compatible). It would work in black/white (or in funky colors) as that one auction said. You might be lucky and have a TV that can handle PAL color encoding though... but that'd be unlikely.
You can do it cheaper than with a Tenlab, by wiring a PAL->RGB and RGB->NTSC converter together. Shouldn't be too difficult to use existing ICs. Probably could do it for < $50...
For the RGB->NTSC part you can get an RGB->PAL converter like they sell for PlayStation and Dreamcast and just rewire it to output NTSC.
I'd just say, I've played Street Fighter II Mastersystem, and for an 8-bit console, it blows those NES versions out of the water completely, it's finely playable.
Somebody please buy my Dreamcast >_> £20+shipping
this is a pretty stupid question, but what is street fighter . Well... what's the rating? (for genesis not master system) Because if I buy it, I need to get a 6 button controller for sure. Is it anything like streets of rage?
-Thanks
13, I've heard of practically every game for genesis except street fighter 2 . I've had genesis since what... I was 5? I think so. Though I never was too much interested in videogames since I was around 11. So that's why I don't know .
