There are numerous grounds, scattered around though mostly on the ends. You can spot them because they are part of the ground plane (large copper plane.)
I find it much easier just to connect every wire to every wire - it's much easier to solder a few more wires than to remember which ones you don't connect, etc.

i was thinking about maybe doing my slot today, and was thinking about this exacct same thing. the reason i went and didnt connect some ground wires before is because i was trying to fit 50 wires down a 40 wire ribbon cable. but for what its worth, its not too hard to just connect all the pins if youre doing it one wire at a time.

well its hard to do it without extra wires. i needed 44 to do it right.
to find the grounds, use a multimeter to find which pins are connected directly (0 resistance) to the metal grounding strips on the side of the board.
there are also duplicate +3.3v and +12v pins on the cart connector.

ok. 20kohms is a looot of ohms. dont worry about that, thats not a bridge. 195 probably isnt either. i could check later but im not getting off my ass right now.
your diagram is labelled correctly. all of those pins are usually like that. so you only need to run one of each, and then connect them all together at the cart slot.
