I have recently aqquired a SNES from my friend and he wants me to make it portable for him. But my dilema is that I can't get it to run off of the batteries. They're 4 new batteries and I have all the power I need so that's not the problem. Any help?
Oh and I'm looking for a Hip Gear screen. Someone on the forum mentioned that you could find one on compuserve or compusa or something like that. No I don't want eBay.
How to check to see if you've fried your SNES

Well seems like you're putting 4.8v, so are you putting that voltage through the 7805 regulator or are you bypassing it? If you're not bypassing it you're not putting enough voltage through the regulator for it to work. If you don't want to bypass the regulator just connect 7.2v to it.
