i thought this was pretty interesting, i dont know about you guys, but its about strange consoles that sega created through out its time, most of them i never heard of until i read it.

Those articles prove once again why Sega fell through the cracks as a hardware company. Way too many reincarnations. I think the computers are a cool thing, hell a PCI genesis would sell insanily I think. But Sega seemed to be after the special edition crowd, and really they just killed themselves doing it.

Again I do think the Driver 2000, not a bad idea... just too expencive and not enough features to pick up. Now if they had done something like sell Dreamcast Dev boxes, or had a version of the Dreamcast that would let you connect a CD-rom/hard drive will booting NetBSD.... Oh I'd love to have seen that.

But Sega (hardware wise) burned their home to the ground.
