Right now Joss Whedon (For all you Buffy and Firefly fans) is writing a Wonder Woman script. I never really watched Buffy, Serenity was pretty good even in light of how much praise was geeked upon it,
But whatever. Since she just won as Oscar, Reese Witherspoon must now be looking long and hard for a Really Lame Cash-In Videogame or Superhero movie. Angelina Jolie had her Tomb Raider, Hally Berry sucked our will to live with Catwoman, Charlize Theron jumped around in Aeon Flux. It's just a natural part of life for these people.
So it only stands to reason that Witherspoon will undoubtedly be Wonder Woman in the upcoming movie (Probably 2007)
MARK MY WORDS!
I mean, I don't give a rat's behind either way (No interest in seeing it) but I enjoy predicting what career blunders these people will take.
I bet you 50 cents Reese Witherspoon is Wonder Woman

Except for the crowd that say that they don't follow the crowd... there seems to be a lot of them these days... But I'm just teasing. While I think Witherspoon might be a good cast for the part, I've just really never ever gotten into Wonder Woman. She's just not interesting.

I'd have to say even if she is picked, the movie is going to suck. Look the only reason there is to watch Tomb Raider is to watch Jolie's boobs bounce around. I believe the same is going to be for this Wonder Woman movie.
The only times I've seen comic books move to a new medium and succed where in cartoons. Yeah Spiderman and the sequal were good, but the animated series from the 90's was just way more popular. Hell the hulk is at his best in the new Avengers movie that came out a few weeks ago.
Live action will not work because there are people working on them that don't read the stories and with their superious intelligence change parts of the story believing it will be better. If I want a damn good live action comic book movie, I'll either talk to the guy that did Sin City or Kevin Smith.
