I got an arcade cab for free. I already have a computer (450MHz, 256 RAM, no HD yet) that I will stuff in it, as well as basically every MAME and neo geo rom. Another nice thing about it is that it is a JAMMA board. Finally, it has a trackball that seems to be fairly new, which goes for $50-$150.

It's a little beat up, but it will be repainted and beautiful upon completion

there is a free stuff website in the Twin Cities that I put an ad on... I got a response in about a week, and it was in my garage 24 hours later

The game was called US Classic, some kind of older golf game. They were getting rid of it because the monitor blew.

I lucked out last year when I found my Crystal castles Cab for $20 at a local flee market.

If you need help getting a track ball to work off of a regular PC mouse just let me know.

a guy at work is really good with newsgroups and the like, and he got me most of the mame roms from B to V. I'm mostly building this for Metal Slug, though (God, I gotta kill abbibi for telling me about that game... and MAME cabs for that matter...)
