My first was an N64 but it wasn't my first gaming experience.

When I was little, my cousin had an SNES and I would play it whenever I went over. He was older than me by about 4 years. I loved it! I had no idea what it was though. To me it was "Nintendo." So my mom asked me one day if I wanted a "The Grey One" or "The Black One." I thought "The Black One" looked cooler (Notice how I didn't see which one was better) and I got an N64 for Hannukkah that year. And I still have it. When ever my cousin (the one with the SNES) comes over, we play Mario Party 3. It's a ritual.

Yeah and my newest system... and NES. W00t. I love it. Got it from my sister's friend because I needed it for a party.

Me: You have a Nintendo, right?
Friend: A what?
Me: The old Nintendo???
Friend: I think so...
Me: It looks like a grey box, right?
Friend: Uh, yeah.
Me: Sweet.

So that's pretty much how I got me an NES. But I had to do the 72 pin fix thing because it wouldn't work.

My first Gameboy was the Gameboy Color for about 80 bucks. Brand new. First game was Super Mario Land. STILL can't beat it without the Game Genie. Pathetic, right?

Haha, you're lucky you said black instead of gray!

(at that time of course, I would say gray now)

Ha! 14.....born 10/31/91

EDIT: I forgot that my first system was a yard sale NES. I played Super Mario Bros. like no one's buisiness.

Just tell everyone to play an emulator.

my first system was the NES, i dont have any idea on when i got that, i just remember getting it at my grandmas house and playing with the light gun and mario. It broke right before the N64 came out and my mom, luckily bought another one for a dollar at a garage sale. I didn't even know what a SNES was until after the N64 came out, which i got and that system was awsome. I ended up having to sell the NES and N64 becuase my brother wanted a GC. I really regret that. My first gameboy was the GBC, bought it used for 55 dollars, and my first game for that was, sorry to say, Pokemon Blue. Either way, that game was pretty good and i loved the NES games tons.
PSp is about 70% done, just have to do the controller and case.

Oh, so now we're doing timelines? Here I go...

Christmas 1998(?)- Playstation.
Christmas 1999-2000- Game Boy Color (That funky Pokemon Yellow one with the game packed in.)
2001- From my hard-earned cash rises... a PS2!
2003- From my hard-earned cash rises... a Gamecube!
Late 2004- Bought a DS right on release day! Nyah nyah!
Early 2005- From eBay rises... a NES! And, umm sold the DS...
Late 2005-Bought another DS!
Super-early 2006- Used N64 from games shop.

Other things I bought that I can't place on the timeline:
GBA
GBA SP

And now the best part, the current condition of them all!

PS1-Long-gone, but I bought another, and it broke.
Pokemon GBC- Fine and sitting on my desk.
PS2- Disk drive broken, case screwed up, anyone interested in a motherboard?
Gamecube- Right there! *points*
NES- Yeah, it's kinda in pieces right now...
N64- Duh-duh-duh-dead!
GBA- Right on my desk. I've given it away so many times and it keeps coming back! A weird curse!
GBA SP- I've had two of these. Traded black one for a blue one. Sold blue one.

Reading these makes me feel quite sad, Like how some of you only have experienced a few new consoles. I grew up with the Sega mega drive mk. II (U.K Genesis) from then i got a Playstation. A friend of mine had a n64 and so after many hours playing it i bought one and i have never regretted it. Then i went through the gameboys G.B (Tetris was so great) G.B.C., G.B.A (I stopped here though) then bought a ps2. Then i bought a gamecube and then an x box so i would not miss out on any great games (e.g. Super smash bros. melee, halo and others). After that i bought a snes and about 30 games then a nes. After enjoying these i bought a atari 520 st and a ZX spectrum 128k and then an atari 2600. Then a master system and a gamegear. My latest purchase is a JAMMA + arcade machine of which currently contains Street fighter 2: The road warrior and a Xbox 360.

Oh yeah and i have a few extra snes's and mega drives lying around too. I urge anyone that loves old video games to go out and re-live all these great games. Heh i'm only 13 but all is possible. :)
Meh... So I don't post much?
