Yes, and I still am very skeptical (not to mention pissed) that it's been excluded. But after playing Bioshock a bit, I've come to the conclusion that not every FPS without multiplayer sucks completely.jones wrote:I'm confused though, I thought your previous position on Metroid Prime 3 was that you were pretty against it since it had no online component?![]()

That reminded me of when my friend's dad wouldn't let him play Ocarina of Time because he thought that Ganon portrayed the devil and so he smashed the game with a hammer. Wow what a run on sentence don't start grammar nazisTwisted Warthog wrote:Violent video games are the Devil?Where the heck do you live, down south or what?

Actually that was correct. Just change the and to a comma, and it would be perfect!jedi knight wrote:That reminded me of when my friend's dad wouldn't let him play Ocarina of Time because he thought that Ganon portrayed the devil and so he smashed the game with a hammer. If you see my sig, you will understand. Waiting till that date. (Although I now own a 360, I shan't be paying for the right to hear 12-year-olds scream over headsets in multiplayer. PC gamers either too cheap to afford headsets, or obviously have more money then the average 12-year-old)
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Yeah, they're definitely going to milk the franchise more, and like Halo they'll probably add nice little additions each time. Which is fine by me, because both games are great fun to play, and more improvements can only make them better. Personally though, while it sounds great on paper, I'd be afraid multiplayer would be really hard to balance. Maybe they'll pull it off though, I'd love to be proven wrong.jones wrote:Maybe they'll have co-op in the inevitable sequel/prequel that comes out. I think if done correctly BS MP could be really cool though. Plasmid battles would rock! Imagine throwing an enemy's corpse at another player while they try to freeze you while they fend off another player from setting them on fire. And on and on. That would be pretty wild. Co-op would be great though too. I'm a big fan of co-op play in games.
And here I am, never been to a midnight movie or book release, yet this will be my second videogame one.Feel free to add me on Live anytime. Looks like H3 is going to be reasonably popular around here.![]()
I may even go to one of the midnight events just for the sake of doing it. I've gone to midnight movie openings multiple times in the past and earlier this year I even went to one for a book. So why not go to one for a video game as well I say.
Moving back all the way onto Halo 3, I'm most looking forward to the conclusion of the campaign. I have the day off from work, so as soon as I get back I plan on playing it all the way through, then crashing for a while so I can get up for work on Wednesday. Maybe I'll sneak some multiplayer in there too.
