Hmm I fully charged the battery and used thicker cables and got the same result. I notice that only the 1,9v line has a problem. So I clamped it to a old gamecube heatsink which I had lying about and still it doesn't work??

Same problem I can't believe it's the heatsink since I used the gamecube one which is HUGE!

I haven't tried the ice thing but wouldn't it melt the plastic bag the ice would be in??

I do have a SMD version of the regulator I bought though. Maby it can't handle the heat even with a heatsink... :(

Any other idea's? I'm gonna rebuild the regulator from scratch. See if that works..

:lol: HUGH bump!! Yeah I did... but as posted in my GCPv2 thread my computer crashed with the pictures on it so I don't have the pics of it finished... :(


BUT!!!! the guy I sold it to opened it up and try to fiddle about with it and f*ed it up :lol: So he's sending it back to me for repair. When I get it and back working again I'll post a pic and a vid :wink:
