i want blue and i also want to cram it all in a GBp, a nice shiny blue one that would be sweet...

You will need to use some more batteries. Here are some Energizer Coin Lithium:

The 2012s are really small, and will give you about 3 hours with one LED. Even the 2450 is pretty small, and you could run 6 LEDs for close to 5 hours on those. What ever you choose, it is 3V, so you only need one.

You said it's a AA, so it is only 1.5V. You could use a step-up transformer and take it to about 2.5V or 3V, but you will lose a lot of battery life, and finding a step-up that is smaller than one of those batteries will be hard.

i have decided to use a 3v computer clock batteries ( i have 75 on my desk)
its litium and works really well i will cut a hole and add it i have linked the + lead through the 5 button so when i press 5 it lights up
