I'm using a 10 ohm resistor, is there something I should know about?

The LEDs burn out quickly. You should use a ~30ohm resistor.

I thought the only way to burn out led's was to apply to much voltage. I guess I should go out and get another one. Thanks for telling me. I've already put it through 3 99 stock tests and playing it myself.

EDIT: Ok, I found a 56 ohm resistor, still works the same way. I should be safe now then.

With a 10ohm resistor, it is getting too much voltage. Not enough to make them spontaneously burn out, but enough that it slowly kills them.

It depends on whether you hook them up in parallel or in series.

Of course, but an led resistor value seems to be something simple enough to permanently figure out. (apparently not though)

One 10-ohm resistor has always worked fine for me. I don't drench my screen in hotglue, so replacing LEDs is an option.
