To the naked theme-happy eye yes, but no service pack I'm aware of has ever completely revamped the operating system's user shell to decrease CPU usage up to two times more than its previous versions.benheck wrote:It's Vista SP2 with a different name, don't tell anyone!
The appealing improvement with Windows 7 is that it looks quite beautiful, while retaining performance (where Vista fails to perform!).

Someone should program something exactly like windows, so it runs all the programs and such, for free.

I'm on Windows 7 right now.
Specs:
3.0 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU
8GB DDR2 1066 Ram
ATI Radeon HD4870 Graphics Card
Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Sound Card
250GB WD HDD
DVD Drive
DVD Burner
Powered by Beastly 950W Modular Power Supply

DAMN OLD HARD DRIVE!!! Not counting it, I would have a 6.7/7.9, Not bad at all! Besides, The WEI doesn't even matter.

That's a really hard thing to do, but Linux does have something called WINE which is a windows compatibility layer that allows you to run many windows applications. doesn't work for everything, but it is a step in the right direction.Kurt_ wrote:I think soon I'll have to find a Windows alternative.
