Yeah, I have tried to work with the game geneie which basicl has the same style of connector as the famicom converter thing. I don't like the way it needs to hook up to a pcb. I have been examining a cool alternative that would involve no soldering (YES YES YES!) and would use a ribbon cable instead... so far I have not found any with the exat same pitch.
Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!
