im pretty sure he got a liquid injection case so maybe email him and ask what company he used

ah yeah i just figurd that out myself just found a company that does those kind of things here where i live so i just send them an email and who know's maby they can make it for my proberbly not cause big company's don't do small hobby projects like this well anyway i might try that vacumforming thing but can you really make a nice clean smooth looking case with that style i mean like factory looking case

and what kind of plastic do you use with vacumforming??

hmm i could ask him to make the mold for me seeing as he makes quite nice molds

so here are some pictures of my case that i'm making. Cutting up the gamegear case was a big copulate up , because the i needed to cut out too much leave almost nothing of the case. So i made my own case the same size as the gamegear only a bit thicker. The case is not finished yet as i don't have any experiance in making cases it still looks i bit weird.

i have yet to try making the case with vacuumforming seeing this case is made by hand.

dimensions are : 21 cm x 11 cm x 5 cm

The best of all thing that everything exactly fits in here. The back will be closed so nothing will stick out of the case (lens). There will also be a cover just like the one on the gamecube itself , that you can click to open and click it back to close it for the lens.

anyway i will post more when i'm done with the case.

If anyone is intrested in making a case for me that has more experiance please contac me. I wil pay for the work done to the case but it has to look factory looking. Somthing like (www.portablesystems.net) this guy's portable he won't reply to my mails cause he doens't make for other people anymore. Wow, that is really really small! From what I read, you're using a PSone screen right? And what did you use to make the case? It looks like some kind of clay molding. Are you planning to vacuum form it? Well keep up the good job...I bet it will turn out great.

the cas is exactly the same size it would never look the same cause the screen in a gamegear is much smaller (too small if you ask me)

so indeed the case that i'm making is the samesize als the gamegear but doens't look anything like the gamegear.

like i said before the case needed to be modified to fit everything. and seeing the original GG case was to weak to hold everything toghter there is only one way to make it work biuld my own one

well anyway still busy making the case. i'll keep you posted

first i got a 3 psp game boxes and made it the shape i wanted it to be with clay. Then with a thin sheet of plastic i heated up, it took the shape of the clay. When taken shape i then add a couple of mm (plastic toothpaste aka PLASTI-PASTE) to make it thicker and stronger and finally i make it level with some kind of car repair paste used also for plastic.

then sanding sanding and allot of sanding to make it nice and smooth just like when it comes out of the factory.

make the holes for everything (that's what i'm busy with now)

paint and fit everything in.

BUT still it doesn't look like a factory made case and that's what i wanted

this is my prototype and if everything works out good i might be thinking of making cases with ejection molding and selling them BUT first i have to finish this one

I'll post a pic of the case when everyhting has been cut out and sanded down
