This guy reminds me of a kid at school named wabi. Wabi aLWAYs made enemies. HE HAS NOOOOO FRIENDS. Even when i try to be friendly, he disses me. Like Jack, he's gonna be screwed. But the gaming community shouldn't kill him. We're subtle......kinda.
"Life's a female of the dog species, then you die.."
Things have just taken a turn for the worst when the mainstream (insert group) decided to be Politiacly Correct. Now everthing has to be fair to everyone and so as its violate and yeah someone found a way to access an option that Rockstar left it (but cant access without exploit) its evil.
Jack is and idiot, plan and simple. The signs people are realizing this is their lack of support and distancing themselves from him. A guy that goes on an (un)holy crusade of trying to attack companies and now contries over produces that are not a neccessity, they're entertainment. And more to the point something you have to go out and buy from a store.
Califorinia's Governor, Arnold, made a nice compramise as he is going to have stores require people give id that they are 18 years old and if no they cant buy a software title rated "M". But thats not good enough for a guy that I'm starting to believe was molested by video games at a young age.

I am a geek.
I was reading Game Politics.com and saw the article about the australian guy who is fighting for Australia to have less strict laws on video game rateings. Looks like Australia might become a gaming hub.
Oh well, if this guy actuly suceeds in banning games than well just buy an island in the south pasific and create our own laws

or we could just build our own island where the Ancient island/city of Ry'Leh once sat in the southern pacific ocean.......Radon199 wrote:I was reading Game Politics.com and saw the article about the australian guy who is fighting for Australia to have less strict laws on video game rateings. you know, the only reason everything is all Politically Correct nowadays is because everybody doesnt wanna get sued.

damnit kid you got to that before me......
and he thinks video games are causing kids to be violent...no, its a way for kids to VENT their violence/anger in a nonharmful way.
by the way, i wonder if he's seen the JFK assassination video. if he thinks san andreas is violent/gory.....thatll be one helluva wake-up call....

But 99% of a video games profit isn't tax, unlike cigarettes, gasoline, etc.benheckc wrote:Games, like tobacco, will never be outlawed.

I wouldn't ever buy one of those. Why you say? Imagine a clueless parent/person sees you wearing it. He might decide to look the name up on google, since he must be interesting enough person to deserve your hate. What will he find I wonder? Most likely a site saying a bunch of crap about how VG's are evil, and how he is such a good guy. I see how it seems like a good idea (and the money goes to a good company). But really the best way to get rid of this guy is to just forget/ignore him. I know it's hard when he says such ridiculous trash that's so easy to counter with simple logic, but it's the only way.kidw/32+systems wrote:i want this for my birthday

say ben, why dont you use your, umm... Vast Knowledge of Videogames and Law to help us out and start our movement against people like Jack-o-lardiac-arrest Thompson? cmon ben, you gotta help us! youve always been here for us before.... remember when little timmy fell down the Well on the 8th level? you were there with your 21st level Rope to pull him out. remember when the Demons attacked, and it was up to little boy blue to take care of them? you handed him a shotgun and 12 dollars and said "Hold this for me". also, do you remember the time when Cthulhu went riding in through boston from Shaggai , and the Outer god Yog-Sothoth Found him and began to fight him over the third planet, you were there in the coffee shop to watch the news and sneak some EverClear into your esspresso.benheckc wrote:Games, like tobacco, will never be outlawed.

If I were to have a T-shirt like that, I'd print out that CAD imageon a t-shirt transfer and iorn it to the back. That way gamers would get it, but nobody else would!
