I did my first portable, and didnt fry one thing!

HELP!, i was neatening it up by resoldering and i cant get any sound!!!

and a transistor smoked, so i think i fried the tran as i can get a picture!!!

Pleas help!

Even after you said "ok", you created yet another new thread for this project. You posted that you blew a transistor in this thread, that's enough, you don't need a new thread.

G-force wrote:The transistor was probably just some kind of 5V regulator. That's what it was on mine at least. Go to radio Shack, buy a 7805 (5V regulator), and wire it to power the +5V on the NOAC.

You said that the NOAC is fried, then you said that you are going to try giving it 5V. It sounds like you don't really know if it is fried.
