How do you soft mod a ps2? vb_master please help

i want to play backups and homebrews without the inconvenience of swap magic.
[EDIT] without having my ps2 burn up in a month
[EDIT 2] vb_master you said something about softmodding a ps2 once do you know how to do it? if so please tell
[EDIT 3] by the way I did google this and found nothing that is why I am asking.

try a hacking forum...uuumm maybe team xecuter..dunno just look around theyll be better were a hard modding group!

The only softmod is swap magic or some other swap disc IIRC
