BenHeck Podcast
hey everyone, I was wondering if maybe we could have a weekly podcast, it looks like to me that all we need is an RSS feed, and that's about it beside the recordings, I was thinking maybe we could all contribute by sending in segments of audio to a "manager" so like
Gamelver:I finished my gcp 1.5! woo hoo, *blah blah blah*
Manager:*comments on Gamelvers gcp 1.5*
something like that, and the manager would complie the podcast and ship it out, then if we wanted to listen to it on the go, we could use Jhymn to convert them into mp3's and put them on our pc's ,phones (possibly), game console?
, and mp3 players, just to get an update on whats' going on in the portable realm, oh and someone could do a submission on the guide on how to solder, stuff like that could actally be useful, maybe even ps1 screen deals like advertisements from members like
atafighter:i'm taking portable building requests:
SNES:199.99
NES:20.99
Gamecub....
you get the idea
or even some sort of music of the month thing, we could have a voe on the forum of which song should be put in this month's podcast, ya see? this would be pretty cool, now all we need is either ben or a member to make an RSS feed
it wouldn't even have to be weekly it could be monthly, and it could be 2 or 3 hours long, but then again that would be ok since it is only monthly, so, how about it?

I don't see why this would be necessary, between voice chat, IRC, and the obvious one, the forum, I think we have our bases covered.
EDIT-- Wrong accout, this is soundwave.

I actually did a Podcast interview on Sunday, it was regarding my movies. Cool because it's very very rare anyone ever asks about that.
I believe it's called One Man Down productions. Not sure when the interview will be up, they'll probably tell me and I'll let you all know.
Warning: It's not for the faint of heart! I talk about breast sizes, horrible shooting days and do an impression of Clint Eastwood at the Canon camera factory. Oh well. At least I could swear, unlike live TV.

This is very odd. I made a thread that talked about this and there were a fair number of members that imbrased the idea. FDSMAN made a thread suggesting it and its shot down faster then anything else I've seen/heard.
@Ben, well you've been working on the "100 year project" (a.k.a Port Wahsington) for so long there isnt much to ask about that we dont already know. Unless your going to have your earlier movies released on DVD, then thats news!

@ Ben: How's the audio work on Port Washington coming along?
(now that you mention it.)
Maybe more people would ask about your movies if you promoted them more. (section on the forums, TV, radio and podcasts about them...)

In The Can Podcast
Hey all,
This is John from One Man Down Productions, one of the duo responsible for the Podcast "In The Can With Johnny and David". We started this podcast to showcase producers and directors of small budget films, and cover what it takes to make a movie with limited resources. We interviewed Ben for an upcoming episode which will be aired as two parts on the 22nd and 29th of November. You can subscribe to the feed at:
http://www.onemandownproductions.com/feed.xml
...or click the "Listen Now" button in the post to hear the latest episode.
The main website is:
http://www.onemandownproductions.com/
Please direct any questions or comments to:
admin@onemandownproductions.com
The initial setup of the feed and the additional iTunes requirements were a bit tricky, so if anyone decides to pick up the ball on a benheck.com podcast, please feel free to shoot any questions my way.
Thanks,
John
p.s. Ben was spot-on with his comments about the interview. I've listened to it twice now and laughed my butt off both times. Thanks again Ben for such an awesome interview!
