Sega Genesis ON A CHIP

I have seen the Radica "Sega All In One" for use in the Genesis portable projects, however, I've also seen other types of those not made by Radica but they still sport the genesis controller style desgin but only have Madden games built in. Does anyone know if these will work for the Genesis portable? How do I determine what types will work and what do I look for without having to buy one and break into it?

Most of the the other OAC systems are a generic CPU and the games are emulators. I know there are members that have check them out, they might post in here to help you out.

I have the Madden one. I can tell you this about it; forget it. Even if you could figure out where the correct cartridge pins are, everything is too small to solder to. There's a couple threads about it already.

So far the only GOAC that has been confirmed to work (that I know of) is the Radica with Sonic and (I think) Eco the Dolphin. The one ben used.

By the way, what's up with your name? I always thought ashley was a girls name. It's almost contradictive to say guy and ashley. I'm not trying to be offensive or anything, I'm just curious.

Not always, Ashley Lelie is a good example. (he plays for the Denver Broncos as a wide receiver)

I was wondering that too.I thought only girls were called Ashly

To answer the many questions surrounding my name, yes I am a guy and the name IS a unisex name. Anyway, "cool guy ashley" was something my best friend called me as a joke. Not because I think I'm cool. I'm actually quite a dork, to be honest.
