PS2p almost done...
I got it all wired and it turns on and the controls work. It actually uses the PS2's RGB signals for the screen instead of composite. All that's left is to plug in the extended DVD wires.
But there's a LOT of wires in the unit so I've screwed it together to "wrangle" them so they have a memory of where to go. Because of this it'll probably be tomorrow before I have it "done"
Don't worry, it's close!

Did you see this? It would kinda suck if the ps2p couldn't watch movies.

yeah, do you think you'll ever make an N64p, Ben? I know you've said you're an N64 fan so I was kind of wondering why you've never built one......anyway, do what you want, it's not up to me or anyone else to decide what portables you build (unless you can't decide yourself or something....), but it would be cool to see a CNC (or laser.....) router built N64p. even one built by hand by you would be pretty nice looking, I'm betting.....Kanangea wrote:also ben have you ever thought about making an n64p cause n64 is an awesome console and you make awesome portables!!!
oh yeah, I can't wait to see the PS2p, also. Good luck on finishing it!!!!!
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing how you put together the PS2.
Also as much as we'd love to see Ben make an N64p, its been done and it will be quite awhile as Ben wants to finish his movie before he does anymore portables.

That would suck to have done all that work and to loose the ability to watch movies. I hope it's not the case for all RGB out to PSone Screens.HK-47 wrote:Did you see this? It would kinda suck if the ps2p couldn't watch movies.
