PSone VGA Mod Can someone help?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

PSone VGA Mod Can someone help?

Post by Krypto »

Ok, I recently purchased a PSone screen for cheap, went and bought a vga cable.

The wires from the vga cable are:

BIG:
Red
Blue
Green

SMALL:
White
Black
Orange
Brown

Can someone help me with a schematic to solder them to the psone board? I tried the schematic on bit-tech, but the wire colors don't match and I don't want to screw anything up.

Help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I'm guessing that you want to connect the PSone screen to your computer. It's a bit more complicated than just plugging it into your computer. Use the search, this has been discussed before.

I used the schematics from bit-tech and everything worked perfectly fine on my psone. Check that you soldered the stuff to the CORRECT locations on the vga cable and onto the psone controller. Secondly, use the offical psone adapter or OFFICIAL psone car adapter in order to get power to it. Lastly...mess with the settings using powerstrip and another video card.

Will do, may I ask what video card you are using with it?
