Dave that's genious! Now I have something for next year :)

Sorry, I don't really have the time to read all the posts. I'll do that when I finish and post pics.

I stayed up till 2 AM last night painting everything. *sigh* 6 hours of sleep the past two days. I still have to finish the helmet and belt thing. Other than that, it's all done! This is gonna be REAAALLLY close... Only 9 hours left!

Your wish is granted :D I barely finished in time, it was so close. But hey, it worked, the paint dried in time, and it looks great.

My friend, shadeslayer, in the costume.

Back of the costume.

/\Shadeslayer trying to kill me!!!/\ He's a psycho! :o

With me gone, there was nothing else for him to live for.

My bro wearing it. You'd think I'd wear my own costume more than everyone else does....

Image

This is me wearing shadeslayers costume....wait....I switched master chief for this!!

Sunday I'll get more pics (of me this time ;) ) and post it on my blog. I'd do it tomorrow but shadeslayer is taking me to the imax theatere! w00t!

How about a lot of pics showing each individual piece. You should be able to figure it out from there with a small amount of explaining. I'll work on it as soon as I can.
Oh yeah, there is leg and feet armor, I just couldn't get it into view in the above pics.

Yeah, it does look a bit "fett", but I think I pulled it off pretty good. Especially taking the time into consideration (2.5 days)

You guys should have seen everyones faces when I walked into the room (my bro had to lead me in, I couldn't see or move in the costume  ). Utter astonishment on everyones faces and saying "wow!". I live for that. The only thing that came close to beating my costume was the above sumo costume, and me showing off my NES p0cket :) It was awesome.

My son and I stole your idea and did a quickie Master Cheif from cardboard. Ours ended up looking more like something from "Starship Troopers" though. :)

We at least did better than that other one on the first page though.
