Yeah but he wont have that done til he gets a 7" or larger screen, and runs on 5v.rawls wrote:Isn't the Atari 800 "laptop" something he's been working on for a while (and mentioned a few times recently)? That's my guess.
The Dreamcast-away, I dont know what happened to that. I think he set it aside til he can get better batteries or something of that sort.
Also the systems Ben hasnt portablized is getting smaller but he still has; SMS, Colecovision, Intellovision, Jaguar, CDi, CDX, Saturn, GameCube and the holy Grail - Xbox.

and he has not done the Turbo Grafx or PC-FX (basically any NEC portables). What about a 3DO? I would like to see him do a Jaguar (with the CD too) because it is so small anyway. And a portable Saturn would be nice. But I agree it will probably be the Atari laptop. But speaking of laptops I would like to see him do a gaming laptop (or just a tablet style thing), something with a smaller screen, and a built in controller, Halo for PCp or Windows XPp
which ever he names it

I dont think Ben would made a portable computer. It would be too much like a laptop/shuttle. As for if he made one and named it XPp should be XPe (XP embedded).
The Jaguar I'd love to see with a CD-rom. Though if dkap01 is reading would it be that hard to add to the exsisting JAGUARp, a battery pack and put it in the cart slot?

A MOPp to clean the upcoming FLOORp!

Seriously, I'm looking forward to the eventual release of the A800p.
<u>portables I'd Like to See:</a>
-Ben's take on the GCp
-Flashback 2 portable
-maybe a pair of PONG portables? (2 small screens, 2 controllers link together with DB9 connectors)

Get a 7" UNIPAC LCD they run off 5V and the backing can be taken off.
best of all the LCD board is the same width and about half the length.

well it says its "the ultimate portable" which could be taken two ways
1. It plays a lot of games, so it could be a system with easy emulation abilities(DC or XBOX)
or the more likely
2. It really really small, and therefore really portable(which could be anything really).
He said he was going to work a lot on it, so hopefully the wait won't be too long. Always great to see work by the "man" himself.
